I am a fair, reliable, & trust worthy person. My hobbies are photography, learning languages, reading, & traveling. I feel that photography has given me an ability to view situations from many angles. My favorite is documentary photography, which helps me to get in the middle of situations in order to get good shots. It allows me to interact with people and my surroundings in unique way. I have studied French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Sign Language & Finnish. Doing so brings me closer to other people around the world. I am compelled to help folks.  I feel confident moving amongst different cultures and countries. I always feel that there is a possibility to communicate with another individual. My previous job of 7 years was as a department manager in a bookstore. It was a fast paced high volume retail environment with a multicultural workforce and clientale. I was a hard worker, very dependable, a good team leader and I thrived under pressure. After moving to Finland with my Finnish spouse and studying at Helsingin sosiaali- ja terveysalan oppilaitos, I decide to pursue a career as a nurse which I am now studying at a Finnish polytechnic. I enjoy working with my hands and doing work that is more physically active. My goal is to work in a home for people with developmental disabilities. I, also, hope to work a few years as a ward or instrument nurse in a humanitarian aid organization providing assitance to victims of war, conflicts & natural disasters.
